Sprint Distance Triathlon (500 yd swim, 12.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile run/walk)
Course distances will be approximate, based on safety and avoiding major road closures. Swim will start and finish at the Transition Area, 70269 Sunset Blvd.

Swim Course (Pontoon Boats)

• Stay outside the marked swim course to protect swimmers

• Provide emergency support when needed

• "Rescue" boats (kayaks, paddle boards, row boats) to assist any weary swimmers

• Cheer on the swimmers

Bike Course (need Golf Carts and UTV's)

• Patrol bike course

• Provide water, snacks, tire pump, tools, etc

• Mark bike course turns

• Keep bikers on course and safe

• Cheer on the bikers

Run Course

• Provide water stops

• Help with cooling (sprinklers, hoses)

• Cheer on the runners

We are looking to make this a whole community event. We are envisioning "cheerleaders" along the course and awards for best cheering stations!

Costumes, water hoses, noisemakers anything to keep our bikers/walkers/runners motivated and cheered along the way. 

We also intend to have a celebration at the finish line where all lakers are welcome!
